Not long ago, a client asked me for a picture of the Crucifixion. I had full reign to do as I pleased, as long as I kept it an 8in x 10in. The is a first for me. I have never done religious paintings or really ever attempted to do religious art. That is the upside of commissions--it gives you a chance to do things you would normally not do.
